Isaiah, the 1st of the major prophets, had an active 54-year ministry centered around Jerusalem. He is mentioned by name in 6 New Testament Books. The prophet’s writing is referenced more than 35 times in the New Testament, and he is the most quoted Old Testament writer in the Gospel accounts. Obviously, this Prophet is worth listening to. Join us on the 2nd Sunday of Lent, 3/1/26, as Pastor Lance dives in the Book of Isaiah.

Beginning on Ash Wednesday, the Lenten period reflects the 40 days that, according to the Bible, Jesus Christ spent fasting in the wilderness before beginning his public ministry.

Prayer, according to the Webster Dictionary, a deliberate communication with a divine power, serving as expressions of thanksgiving, petition, adoration or intercession, providing comfort, guidance, and spiritual guidance. It is estimated that the word prayer and its various forms is used more than 1,000 times in the King James Bible. This word is obviously worth sitting up and listening to.

It seems like we were all just busy with the Christmas Season. Christians around the world, will be entering The Holy Season of Lent in just 3 weeks. This Sunday is known as Septuagesima, the third Sunday before Ash Wednesday, and the ninth Sunday before Easter.
